Telegraph India || Bokaro Photographer Captures Rare Indian Grey Wolf in Jharkhand’s Mahuadanr Sanctuary

In a remarkable wildlife moment, Bokaro-based photographer Mukul Mukherjee has captured the elusive Indian Grey Wolf on DSLR for the first time at Mahuadanr Wolf Sanctuary, Latehar, the only declared wolf sanctuary in Asia. An engineer and MBA turned wildlife photographer, Mukherjee visited the sanctuary on the invitation of the Jharkhand Forest Department and fulfilled his long-cherished dream of documenting this rare species. Appointed as Wildlife Photography Consultant by PCCF (Wildlife) & Chief Wildlife Warden Rajiv Ranjan, Mukherjee continues to showcase the rich biodiversity of Jharkhand, home to leopards, hyenas, sloth bears, and numerous bird species.
