Rajat sengupta
Rajat Sengupta is a veteran Creative Producer with over three decades of experience across television, film, music, and live events. He has produced acclaimed content for leading Indian television networks such as Zee TV, Star, ETV, and Doordarshan, including popular shows like Kab Kyon Kaise and Asha Ki Kiran. His film credits include producing the National Award-winning Godmother (1999), a critically lauded biographical drama starring Shabana Azmi that won multiple National Film Awards under his production banner.
In the music business, as Music Business Head at HMV, he was instrumental in launching iconic Bollywood soundtracks like 1942: A Love Story and Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge, helping shape India’s commercial music landscape. He also organized the Rajeev Gandhi Festival’s music event at Siri Fort for nine consecutive years, demonstrating his expertise in live large-scale cultural programming. His versatile career spans content creation, strategic music marketing, and event production, making him a significant figure in the Indian media and entertainment industry.

aparajita roy
With a strong academic foundation in M.A. and B.Ed, Aparajita Roy brings a deep passion for journalism and visual storytelling. She has worked across both print and television media, contributing to prestigious platforms such as Anandabazar, Bartaman, Sonar Bangla, DD Bangla’s Saptahik Darpan, Khabor Ekhon, and Signus.
Her career includes interviews with some of India’s most respected personalities, including Pandit Ravi Shankar, Wasim Kapoor, Usha Ganguli, Medha Patkar, and Jochhin Dastidar, where she explored their life journeys, creative philosophies, and contributions to Indian culture, art, and social change through in-depth and thought-provoking conversations.
She has written compelling features such as "Durga Puja in Presidency Jail" and "NCL in Presidency Jail", shining a light on untold stories.
Aparajita has completed two powerful documentaries. One explores the lives of children living in government-run homes, capturing their hopes and challenges. The other tells the story of a man dedicated to social upliftment, working to empower those in need.
Aparajita combines empathy, research, and journalistic insight to tell stories that matter. Her work continues to inspire awareness and understanding through a powerful lens.
ASHWINI NAKIL
Ashwini is a dedicated wildlife professional with experience working alongside leading institutions such as the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS), the Wildlife Institute of India (WII), and the Zoological Survey of India. Over the course of her career, she has contributed to diverse conservation projects focused on ecological research and biodiversity monitoring.
Her work specializes in camera trapping, conservation research in collaboration with local communities and NGOs, long-term ecological monitoring, and the use of molecular tools for wildlife research. She is also deeply committed to capacity building, helping strengthen conservation efforts through knowledge sharing and training initiatives.
Ashwini’s extensive field experience has taken her across some of India’s most ecologically significant landscapes, including Lahul & Spiti, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Pench Tiger Reserve, Darjeeling, and Sikkim. These diverse terrains have shaped her understanding of both Himalayan and central Indian ecosystems.
Beyond field research, Ashwini is driven by her passion for filmmaking. She transforms raw footage into compelling visual narratives through thoughtful editing and storytelling. Her fascination with cinematography sharpens her sensitivity to light, composition, and detail — enabling her to turn fleeting moments in the wild into powerful cinematic experiences.

Mukul Mukherjee’s wildlife journey began with a deep fascination for India’s natural world, eventually leading him to dedicate his life to conservation. His long-standing association with WWF India as a resource person has played a central role in shaping his conservation path. Through WWF, he has mentored students, conducted nature trails, led wildlife photography workshops, supported conflict-mitigation initiatives, and contributed to ecosystem studies across the Northeast and beyond.
His fieldwork gradually expanded from photography to habitat assessments, wildlife surveys, and hands-on conservation projects across tiger reserves and national parks. As his expertise grew, Mukul became a ZEISS Brand Influencer and a Nikon NPS Member, collaborating closely with Nikon through mentorship programs and workshops to promote ethical wildlife photography. These associations strengthened his ability to train aspiring photographers while advancing responsible documentation of wildlife.
Today, as the founder of GENCF, he continues to blend field experience, education, and storytelling to inspire meaningful conservation action.
