Previous Works:
5 Days Guide Training Programme at South Division, Palamau Tiger Reserve

GENCF took an initiative to conduct a 5 Days Guide Training programme to create Eco-Tourism along with the promotion of wildlife tourism in the South Division of Palamau Tiger Reserve.
Around 50 guides were selected from the villages sharing its boundary with the Tiger Reserve and the training was conducted from 22nd to 26th August, 2022 at Ashoka Hall, Maromar, Garu West Range.
The main aim was to connect with local people from the villages who are self-motivated and bear respect for Mother Nature, thereby helping and supporting them to create their livelihood.
Vulture Awareness Programme at Palamau Tiger Reserve

This programme was organized by Palamau Tiger Reserve in collaboration with GENCF and was conducted in the schools and villages of Baresanr, Pahar Kocha, and Kujrum for 5 days in June, 2022.
Under this initiative, the students, village heads, and villagers were made aware of the importance of vulture conservation and tree plantation. The villagers were also educated about Human-Wildlife Conflict.
A programme was organized in the forest area, where the different species of vultures, their identification, and their importance were explained. Information was also given about the food chain and how vultures play an important role in it.
A photography workshop was organized at the school of Baresanr.
